  Ctrip responds: Earthquake assistance for travelers and victims

  Immediately after the Sichuan earthquake hit, the Ctrip crisis management team contacted Ctrip customers in Sichuan to confirm their safety. We've also activated the Ctrip Major Natural Disasters Tourist Assistance Fund to provide compensation to Ctrip customers affected by the quake. Ctrip customers who were scheduled to depart from, arrive at or transfer from at Chengdu Shuangliu Airport within 36 hours of the earthquake can receive full refunds.
  
  If you wish to provide assistance to relief efforts in Sichuan, you can make donations directly to the Red Cross Society of China via their website (Chinese language only) or by calling their hotline at (86 10) 6513 9999. You can also donate directly to one of two special accounts set up for earthquake relief. Donations can be given in RMB and foreign currency. For details, see ChinaTravel.net.
